Some people see valentine's day as just a scam, another way for companies to make money - on cards, flowers and fancy dinners.

But I'm thankful for this day. Because it reminds me to be thankful for something that is easily forgotten - our friendships and connections.

The kindred souls who are going through this life with us. The people who pull us up when we're down and cheer us on when we're flying high.

The family, the friends, the coworkers, the clients, the followers who make each day different than the last.

The ones who put up with us. The ones who help us learn more about ourselves. The ones who listen, support and guide. The ones who drive us crazy. The ones we learn from. The ones who bring us peace and the ones who bring us fun.

They make our lives so full. So I'm so thankful for valentines day. And I'm so thankful for you!
