Are we playing by the rules? The rules we think society dictates or the rules we create for ourselves. I can't apply for that job because..., I won't be happy until..., I can't make money doing xyz, I'll do it when I'm ready, I could go on and on but you know the drill. Why do we have all these arbitrary rules?

Why are we second guessing ourselves? I know it's because we're afraid to fail. We'll afraid of what they'll say. We're afraid of the negative repercussions. But what is it costing us if we never try? If we stay where we are?

If we never trust ourselves and leap, we'll never see or be able to try defying gravity. If we stay in the job we hate, if we never set the boundaries we need, if we never let ourselves be happy, we never give ourselves the chance to fly.

When we follow these arbitrary rules and second guess ourselves, we stay trapped in our old stories and patterns. So give me your favorite emoji if you're with me and ready to try defying gravity!
