worry is the thief of joy

Worry is a tricky thing. It is just trying to protect us, like the spikes on this cactus... but it doesn't always feel that way.

Worry just wants us to be safe. It keeps us focused on what we need to be anxious about. It keeps us focused on the future.

I don't need to tell you, because most of us are there now -

game planning and strategizing and thinking about the worst case scenario.

And I get it, I've been there too. Especially with so much uncertainty in the world, it makes sense that we're worried.

But what I know for sure is that WORRY is the thief of JOY.

When we're focused on worrying and game planning and strategizing, we don't see the joy. We miss it.

Our stress keeps us so focused on how things might go wrong - or are already going wrong - that we miss the joy that's still present in our lives.

Because joy never leaves us. There's always something to be grateful for, there's always something to celebrate, even in our darkest hours. I truly believe that.

But diving for the light isn't always easy. And I hear you. Which is why I'm making it my mission to help us ease up on the worry and anxiety in order to find more joy.

If you need support, or just want to talk, I've opened up 30 spots for free 30 minute coaching support this month. We'll focus on releasing that worry and opening up to joy.

So if you, or someone you know, could use a boost, let's connect. Click the link in my bio to snag your spot now!
